Prayers for Italian Soldiers

After paraphrasing the Pope's letter to Cardinal Maglione on the promotion of public prayer, the Vatican Radio commentator dwelt on the necessity of prayer in the present grave difficulty.

" Let everyone pray—the old, the young, the soldiers, Chaplains should organise public prayers for the soldiers, who, having experienced the horrors of war, can appreciate better than anyone else the importance of eternal values."
