Bishop Grasar of Shrewsbury writes in an Advent pastoral letter that the obligation of spreading the faith is imposed on every follower of Christ. The laity are called to do so because they are one with Christ through baptism and confirmation.
To fulfil this duty, each one must increase the life of Christ within himself. "The more like Him you are. the more He will, through you, spread His love to others."
