GREYGARTH'S NEW STATUS
(ireygarth University Residence, founded four years ago by Opus Del in Victoria Park, Manchester, has been raised to the status of a licensed Hall of Residence of the University of Manchester by a recent decision of the University Council.
Open to students of all denominations, Greygarth aims at "creating optimum conditions for serious study within the framework of an informal, family atmosphere". Students from more than 25 countries have been in residence,
Opus Dci. a lay association with headquarters in Rome, has now established some 200 university residences in 50 countries. Its biggest project in England at the moment is the new 200-room Netherall House, now being built at Hampstead.
