NEW film about Mother
Teresa and the work of her Missionaries Of Charity among the destitute of India and in particular in Calcutta, has been made by the Oxford Committee fox Famine Relief.
The film, made by OXFAM representatives in Calcutta, is to be shown on television in ATV's "About Religion" on Sunday, April 5, at 7 p.m.
Mother 1 eresa, who is currently coping with the aftermath of the Calcutta riots during which the huts of some 600 lepers were razed to the ground. has received help both from OXFAM and from the Mother Teresa Committee of the British Section of the Order of Charity.
Because of the extent of riot. damage, Mother Teresa has had to postpone a visit she is to make to Venezuela. A message which reached the CATHOLIC Heeetn this week states that she has been invited to open a Home in Venezuela. This will be her first establishment outside India. It will be run by seven Indian Missionaries of Charity.
