Requiem Mass at the Church of SS. Richard and Hubert, Hadzor, near Droitwich, preceded the burial on Tuesday of Mr Thomas Aldhelrn Watkins, of Cockshutte Hill Farm, Hadzor, who died suddenly aged 65.
Mr Watkins, who was vice-president of the SS. Richard and Hubert Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, was a well-known farmer, and bad been a member of Droitwich Rural District Council for 12 years.
