THE L.C.C. ELECTION To the list printed in the Catholic

Herald, last week, of Catholics who are candidates for seats on the London County Council, there should be added the name of Mr. C. F. Wegg-Prosser, who is standing for Limehouse. He is one of six candidates belonging to the British Union of Fascists.
Mr. Wegg-Prosser is an old Downside boy. At Oxford, where he continued his education at Oriel College, he was president of the Newman Society in 1932. He is nephew to Major John F. Wegg-Prosser, K.S.G., for many years president of the Superior C:ouncil of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in England and Wales.
As was emphasised last week, the Catholic Herald prints with pleasure the names of Catholic candidates at the approaching election, only reminding electors that it is not to names and labels, but to programmes and personal characters and records, that they should look in making their choice at the polls.
