The Rev. Bro. Brendan, who has been on the teaching staff of St. Joseph's College, Dumfries, for a number of years. is to succeed the Rev. Bro. Joseph as principal, who retires from office after completing his term of six years. The new principal has the good wishes of former students. with whom he was a popular and well-known figure.
The appointment is also announced of the Rev. Bro. Jarlith to the position of principal of the Marist Novitiate. Dumfries. Bro. Jarlith, a member of the teaching staff, succeeds the Rev. Bro. Walthen, who has concluded his term in office.
