THE LITTLE WAY MISSIONARY SISTERS OF ST THERESE were founded in Burma by Bishop Mang Thang of Hakha Diocese with the assistance of the late Miss Mary Doohan, Foundress and Life President of The Little Way Association. The Sisters strive to teach the Faith and minister to the needs of those around them the countless orphans, poor, sick and homeless people. In the few years that they have been in existence already more than 200 young women have come to dedicate their lives to God and the service of His people. They live in the 20 communitites that have been established in Hakha diocese, in remote mountainous areas, where Jesus and His Gospel are unknown, and funds are urgently needed for the maintenance of the Sisters, novices, postulants and aspirants.
Bishop Nicholas and the Sisters will be forever grateful to you for any donation you can send for their maintenance and for the upkeep of their religious houses. Bishop Nicholas assures all benefactors of a daily share in his prayers.
“I feel that my mission is only beginning: my mission to make Christ loved as I love Him, to give my little way to souls.”
