Archbishop of Westminster President

The Catholic Herald is able to announce that at the meeting of the hierarchy at Archbishop's House, Westminster, on Tuesday, October 20, it was decided that now that the Pope has appointed the Archbishop of Westminster as President of Catholic Action, the organisation should be proceeded with immediately.

A joint pastoral of their Lordships will be issued for Advent, explaining the establishment and constitution of " The Apostolate of the Laity in union with the Hierarchy " in accordance with the special needs and conditions of this country.
