CARDINAL FAULHABER CONSULTED Allied authorities in Munich have banned all

anti-Nazi organisations, including the one which helped to capture the city, and seem to prefer working with pre-Nazi monarchist and Catholic politicians, writes Reuter's Continental Observer.
The Allied Military Governor in Munich, acting apparently on the advice of Cardinal Faulhaber, has restored the former Mayor of Munich, Karl Scharnagl, a Bavarian Catholic, and has appointed a monarchist named Hans von Seisser to be Police Chief.
Two French Bishops, executed by Japanese in Indo-China, have been identified in information received in Paris by the Minister of Colonies as Mgr. Ange Gouin. former Vicar Apostolic of Laos, and his successor. Mgr. Albert Thomine. Both were members of the Foreign Missions Society of Paris. The Ministry of Colonies has also received confirmation of the execution of the French Mother Superior of the Sisters of Charity of St. Jeanne Antide Thourot at Thakhek, Laos.
