PUPILS AT the Marist Senior School in Ascot, Berkshire, have organised a highly successful charity dance show, raising more than £1,000 for Breast Cancer Research.
Sophie Castley and Nicole Cammack had rehearsed eight times a week with 10 other pupils since December. Over 70 tickets were sold in advance for the night’s performance, with many more being sold on the door.
The pupils performed a lively array of dance routines, including Seventies classic “At the Carwash”.
Sophie said: “We wanted to do something for Breast Cancer Research and we both love dancing, so a dance show was the natural choice. There was an amazing atmosphere at the show. We want to thank everyone for their overwhelming support, it made it really special.”
