-1-)EADERS have commented on -1-1)my remarks that the Fontana Press has broken new ground in issuing Christian books at a popular price. Here is a list of others sent to me: "The Road to Damascus," by Fr. J. O'Brien, in Iwo volumes: Waugh's " Edmund Campion " and " The Imitation of Christ "all two shillings each. " Dante's Hell," at two-and-six. and Dante's " Purgatory " and Bede's " History" at three-andsix. Another strongly recommends C. S. Lewis's trilogy of novels: " Out of the Silent Planet," " Voyage to Venus " and " That Hideous Strength." " These books," she writes, •' are conventionally of the ' space travel ' type, hut are also profound studies of theological conflict, filled with a sense of the eternal war between good and evil which is this writer's distinctive gift."
