New Vatican Envoy Visits Rome

Mr. John Victor Perowne, the British Minister designate to the Holy See, arrived in Rome by air last week, on a private visit. He was met by Sir Francis D'Arcy Osborne, the present Minster, who is relinquishing his appointment at the end of May, and taken to the British Legation in Vatican City.
