On Sunday evening. Bishop Rudderham of Clifton will bless and open a new £49,001) church dedicated to St: Teresa, at Fitton, Bristol. One of the biggest of the modern churches built in Bristol. it is constructed of yellow faced bricks, inside and out, in the Basilican style, with a sunken forecourt entrance. It has seating for about 380.

In addition to a magnificent cupola wire windows 14 feet high embodied within it over the high altar, there are two side altars, one of Our Lady, and one of the Sacred Heart, with a shrine to St. Teresa near the entrance. Symbolic ornaments on the three altar fronts, executed in marble, were designed by Brother Louis. a monk of Prinknash Abbey.
