The Vatican Information Bureau, via Vatican Radio, desires to inform all enquirers in England and Ireland of its inability to obtain any information as yet regarding British prisoners of war in Malaya and Singapore.
Immediately on receipt of requests from anxious friends and relatives here, it states, it sent the enquiries on to thc Delegate Apostolic in Bangkok, who has advised, however, that it has been impossible for him to communicate with the districts concerned.
