SR M ST. PIUS KELLY, SMG, pictured here, a native

of Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland, has been re-elected Superior General of the Congregation of the Poor Servants of the Mother of God, for a second term of office, at their fourteenth General Chapter which was held at Maryfield Convent, Roehampton, London on August 4.

There are over 400 Sisters in the Congregation of the Poor Servants of the Mother of God who were founded by an English Nurse, Mother Magdalen Taylor at the time of the Crimean War.

Today the sisters serve the poor, the elderly, children in

care and a host of others in Britain, Ireland, Europe and in the United States.
