FIRST LOURDES POST-WAR CURES

PARIS, Wednesday. The Lourdes Medical Bureau year-old French girl, Yvonne to-day announced that a 22-yearFournier, of St. Alevis, near Limoges, has been cured at the Lourdes Grotto. She had been suffering from total paralysis of the left arm.
One of the 50,000 pilgrims taking part in the first French National Pitgrimage since the war. Yvonne Fournier was cured instantly as she came out of the pool on Aalurday, the first day of the pilgrimage, the Bureau said. The cure is one of the two officially recognised hy the Medical Bureau this week.
The other took place last year when twenty-year-old Marie Therese Laurent, of Charente, was cured on May 18. She was suffering from tubercular peritonitis and on the morning of that day her doctor stated that she could live only a few hours The same evening she was cured after bathing in the pool at Lourdes Grotto.
