The Presbytery Must Move

What is not expanding is being forced to move, and in this case it is perhaps rather a pity. The presbytery of St. Pancras C' urch, a two hundred year old house, is to be pulled down in accordance with a plan for widening Ipswich streets.
The consolation is that the council will have to find Canon Peacock, parish priest of St. Pancras, alternative accommodation; and the Canon himself may not appreciate the antique as much as a casual visitor to Ipswich would.
