MOLDOVA MISSION, EASTERN EUROPE

THE SACRED HEART FATHERS wish to thank all those patrons and donors responsible for keeping their vital and little known Mission alive during the last year in Transdniester, Moldova. Without your continued support these isolated people — officially amongst the poorest in the World — would have little hope of any meaningful survival. The children are particularly vulnerable, orphans trying to find scraps, clothing and shoes amidst temperatures often —20C are often drawn into prostitution and endure major health risks. The elderly frail often have no-one else to turn to but the Sacred Heart Fathers who remain under constant financial pressure to maintain their spiritual and practical Mission. It is the love of the Sacred Heart and His poor that continues to drive these Priests who are trying to promote some education and vocational training to give young people a basic chance whilst providing food, clothing and solace. Please continue your warm support, and we welcome any new supporters to our cause. Thank you so much and please keep the Mission in your prayers and thoughts during Lent.

Registered Charity: 215011. Please make cheques payable to 'Moldovan Appeal'. Sacred Heart Fathers, 266 Wellington Road North, Stockport. SK4
