Sue—The reason priests do not put ..Catholic Church " instead of their own names is that the Telephone people charge 15s. a year extra for that (on the curious ground that it is a trade address). It is a very serious inconvenience to priests themselves when they want to ring up another priest, and may not have a Catholic Directory at hand.

as under the heading " Catholic Church." This matter has occerred to me when trying to ring up the nearest church to ascertain the time of Mass, so I hope that your suggestion will be noted, and acted upon by the powers-that-be in this country.
