Play About Jesuits

At the beginning of June a play, The First Legion, concerning the Jesuit Order. was produced at Richmond. When first put on in America, Catholic reviews were enthusiastic, the Catholic Herald curbed the enthusiasm of America but nevertheless found it sympathetic if a rather pointless study, the Jesuits at Farm Street described it as a well-meaning travesty.

Now The First Legion is to receive a try-out in the West End. It has been booked for Daly's Theatre, to open on July 27,
