NOTTINGHAM'S POLISH RELIEF CONCERT

From Our Own Correspondent When the First Secretary to the Polish Embassy, 31. Jozef Moscicki, and Madame Moscieki came to Nottineliam last week to represent
the Polish Ambassador, Count Edward Raczynski (who had been summoned to France), at the Polish Relief Fund Concert at the Albert Hall, Nottingham. organised by Mrs Clement Pitman, he was accorded the honour of a civic luncheon at the Council House.
At this the guests included Mgr. John McNulty, Bishop of Nottingham. The Bishop afterwards attended the concert, at which the artistes were Count John McCormack, Madame Marie Korchinska. the Polish harpist, and Madame Lahey.
Most of the Catholic clergy of the city and district, together with many wellknown layfolk, gave the concert their patronage. The Nottingham Jewish community was also well represented.
