'Catechism' Camp

THIRTY-EIGHT chiidren from

widely scattered parishes in Lincolnshire and Rutland have just taken part in the first Catechism-Holiday Camp to he held in the Nottingham diocese.

The Camp. held at the Presentation Convent, Matlock. was arranged and conducted by the Nottingham diocesan branch of the Catholic Women's League under their president Mrs. Alan Turner of Derby. The Ca.np '.'.as supervised by the Countess of Eldon who is a pioneer in teaching children in rural areas. fr. Nicholson, S.C.J., one of the Travelling Missioners was chaplain. Three children -nada their first Holy Communion and 13 were Confirmed by Bishop Ellis.
