THEapparent fall-away of the working-classes from the Church, suspected in many places, is evident in a recent poll made in the Spanish city of Caceres.

Figures of Mass-going on a given Sunday there, and published in Eccie sia, show that 20% of 6,907 workers were present at Mass.

Comparison with other groups as follows:— Teachers: 90%. Of a total of 365.

Other professional people: 86%. Total: 565.

Clerks: 46%. Total: 3,356. Men prominent in commerce: 32%. Total: 1,407.
