Rochester to the U.S•A•

THE opening of the new Church of St. John Fisher, in Rochester, on May 23, will be shown on television screens in the United States.

Cine cameras arc to be in action when Bishop Kearney of Rochester, U.S., arrives in Rochester, Kent, to perform the opening ceremony of the first Catholic church to be built since the Reformation in Cardinal St, John Fisher's see city. Americans in Rochester subscribed $30,000 towards the cost of the church.

Pontifical High Mass will be sung there by Bishop Kearney, and Bishop Cowderoy of Southwark will preside.
