K.S.C. gift to Southwark travelling mission

AT a dinner organised by the St. George's Chapter of the K.S.C. in Southwark, a cheque for £275 was handed to Mgr. Denis Wall. the Chancellor of the diocese, who represented the .Bishop. It will he used to help the travelling mission. Mgr. Wall said that from the inception of the diocesan travelling mission, over 30 years ago, the Knights have loyally kept their promise to support it.

• This annual donation, combined with the collections taken at the Travelling MissionFilm Shows organised by Fr. Alexander North and the K.S.C., have relieved the diocese of financing the mission work.

Tennis club extends

About 100 members of Our Lady of Muswell Lawn Tennis Club and thcir friends were present In Muswell Hill. North London, last Saturday when Mr. Owen Brannigan opened a new extension to the pavilion. With Mrs. Brannigan he was present at the social which also celebrated the purchase of the club grounds.
