OPENING my mail the other day on the front page of the bulletin of the Catholic Study Circle for Animal Welfare there was the radiant feature of Bishop Agnellus Andrew who presides over this splendid organisation.
In these dark days (for animals as well as humans) when Storrington and veal calves are prominent in our minds (or they should be) let us remember the good Catholics of "The Ark", our very own Catholic animal welfare group, and its fine compassionate president.
To the animal liberation front in whose bad books we are 'deeply enmeshed I would say that there are true animal loving Catholics around and we are concerned about animal abuse. Mrs Jean McGure London NW II
