IF YOU are a creative artist, a composer of music, a dancer, a writer, a weaver or a painter in icons, you may be interested in the flue day Workshop Summer School in Liturgy and the Arts which takes place at Turvey Abbey in Bedfordshire, in August.
The Summer School begins on Sunday August 7 at 6.30pm with supper, and ends on Friday August 12, afternoon. Cost: £98 + £10 deposit. This includes accommodation, meals and tuition. Turvey Abbey is a recent joint foundation of Benedictine monks and nuns, in a village on the Bedford-Northampton Road. Access by coach or train from London to Bedford. The X2 Bedford-Northampton bus goes past the door.
