Mr. R. J. Harvey, who fought the East Woolwich Parliamentary byelection in the Conservative cause earlier this year has been received into the Church by Fr. Peers-Smith, S.J., of Farm Street Church, London. Mr. Harvey was formerly a meinber of the Anglican London Diocesan Conference. In the East Woolwich by-election he reduced the Labour majority by 5,000 votes. He has since been readopted as prospective candidate for the same division.
