Singing Jesuits for embark on Cecilia new trade

THE LITTLE Singers of St Cecilia, of the Church of St Anselm and St Cecilia, Kingsway, London, have just produced a tape of Christmas carols.

The children, whose ages range from 8 years to 16 years, have worked very hard for the past 18 months to produce this tape. Proceeds from the sale of the tape (price £4) is to help raise funds for The Little Singers to go to Ireland, where they have been invited to sing in Kerry Cathedral, at Easter 1987. They also hope to be able to sing in Paris in the summer of 1987.

The Little Singers will be performing at Fleming Hotel, Mayfair, on December 24, also St Anselm and St Cecilia's Church, Kingsway and For the Catholic Stage Guild, Maiden Lane. Details from Mrs Pam Hindle, 15 Museum Mansions, 63A Great Russell Street, London WC1, Telephone: 01-404 5541.

IF YOU know anyone in the diocese of Shrewsbury who would like to start reading a Catholic newspaper, we would gladly send them a free introductory copy of the Catholic Herald for three successive weeks on receipt of their name and address.
