The first diocesan meeting in the beatification process of a young priest shot by Reds in the Spanish Civil War has been held at Ciudadela, Balearic Islands. Fr. Juan Huguet Cardona had only been recently ordained when on July 23, 1936. he was killed for refusing to deny his Faith and give cheers for Communism.
