Educational expansion

A NEW CATHOLIC secondary school in Wandsworth, southwest London, has come a step closer following the announcement that three private sector companies are going through to the next stage of tendering for Wandsworth’s £300m Building Schools for the Future programme.

The new Catholic secondary school, St John Bosco, will replace two existing schools – John Paul II and Salesian College. St John Bosco will be a new school with its own ethos but all pupils attending John Paul II and Salesian are guaranteed places at the new school when it opens in 2011.
