CONTRIBUTIONS by the world's Catholics to mission collections sponsored by the Vatican has exceeded $50 (nearly £30m) for the first time. Mgr Joseph Kempeneers, general secretary of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, said 1976 collections should easily exceed 1975's $48.7m„.
