Papal Diplomacy

A book on the activities of the Holy Sees diplomatic corps throughout the world since the beginning of the 19th century has been presented by its author to His Holiness. Called " Apostolic Nunciatures from 1800 to 1956;" the book was written by Mgr. Ciiuseppe De Marchi, a member of the Vatican Secretariat of State and a professor of history at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy.
