SIR,—An impression is spreading that this Society has initiated a Petition to the Holy See begging that the Cause of Teresa Higginson be resumed.
As organiser of the T.H.S. and responsible for the text of notices which are appearing in the Catholic Press and for the wording of a letter circulated widely among Catholics, I wish to contradict and correct this erroneous impression.
