Acmonital Coinage for Papal City

A new series of coin for the Papal State, made of acmonital, a special alloy adopted by Italy to save nickel for war purposes, will be in circulation soon, states B.U.P. message.

The coins will be made at the Italian Royal Mint. No new bank notes will be issued, as the circulation of notes in Vatican City is very small.
