Cathedral Choirmaster • St. Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham, is being deprived

of the services of its choirmaster. Mr. Basil Krauth is now in a searchlight regiment, and has composed a motet for boys' voices and organ, which was sung recently for the first time under the direction of Mr. L. C. Kelly, a fellow cantor of Mr. Krauth. In spite of all the difficulties of the moment, the musical tradition of St. Chad's is being well maintained
