POPE BENEDICT XVI has condemned a bombing attack against a Bolivian cardinal, calling the incident a “deplorable act”.
“Any act of violence committed with the intention of damaging, harming or intimidating is always reprehensible and against the dignity of the person,” said a message.
The attack on Cardinal Julio Terrazas Sandoval’s residence in Santa Cruz caused no injuries.
