The Belfast based degree in Reconciliation Studies is an innovative cross-border programme which takes an interdisciplinary approach to the challenges of social reconciliation in the aftermath of armed conflict. Particular attention is given to ethnic conflicts and the role of religion in such conflicts. Modules allow specialisation in the fields of politics, social research, theology and religions. The programme also includes a one-week Spring School in Dublin.
M.Phil. students can study full-time for 12 months or parttime for 24 months. A one term (twelve week) programme is available and is ideal for those on sabbatical, or for those who prefer a shorter period of study. There is also the option of attending one course.
