Some addenda

SIR,-Permit me three addenda to my article upon Fr. Grosjean's lecture towand Anglo-Saxon England.

I. The book which is the subject of the lecture is the second edition Of " The Emergence of England and Wales " (Heifer, Cambridge), which is due for publication about the same time as the lectures. 2. My reference to in dicionem Saxonum must not be taken to have a sheerly linguistic reference. Indeed, it has to do with dominion, and might even be translated " came under the sway of Saxons " 3. By today's post received a most significant article by Mr. Donald Nichol! (ex " Studies") which elaborates the same theme as that of Wade-Evans and Fr. Grosjean.
