The Pope on Tuesday created the new Apostolic Prefecture of Bechuanaland entrusted to the Passionist Fathers. 'This unifies the ecclesiastical administration of the territory, formerly divided between the dioceses of Kimberley, South Africa, Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia, and the Apostolic Vicariate of Windhoek, South West Africa.
