Catholic Hospital For Nanking

At a dinner which took place recently at the Capital Hotel, at which the most prominent officials of the municipality were the guests of Bishop Yu Pin and Mr. Joseph Lo Pa-Hong, National President of Catholic Action, the question of erecting a Catholic hospital in the capital was discussed in detail. On the suggestion of Mr. Lo Pa-Hong all present enrolled themselves as promoters of this object. The idea of a Catholic hospital was first mooted a year ago. Among those present were the Mayor of Nanking, the Prefect of Police, the Vice-Minister of Hygiene, the Director of Finance in Nanking, and the Director of the Central Hospital,
