Now teaching children whose mothers were in her first classes 26 years ago is Miss Ruth Crosse, of Kensington, who on Sunday was presented with the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, conferred on her by the Holy Father for her long service as a catechist at SS. Sebastian and Pancras', Kingsbury, North London.

Miss Crosse was one of the first to qualify as a member of Our Lady's Catechists, and she has conducted the Sunday school and weekday classes at Kingsbury for the past 18 years. Previously she taught at Brook Green, St. Joseph's, Wembley, Burnt Oak, and at Dagenham.

The presentation was made by Fr. R. L. Smith, during the children's service.
