—it's the Unity Theatre at it again, with a new version of their political pantomime, 7he Babes and the Bear.

This time it's a revue that the Left wits have ingeniously devised, caricaturing the Black-Out, Evacuation, Ladies in Uniform, A.R.P., and all the rest of the War Jollities.

Lacking a little of the vigour that we expect from the people's theatre, we found the show rather a sad, limp affair, reminiscent of a barrage balloon earthed.
