No party matter

NEITHER of the previous writers in your letter column have read my earlier letter properly.

If they do so, they will see that I have not attacked any Political Party. My comments related to the leader of the Liberal Party (David Steel) and the leader of the SDP (David Owen).

My comments were true and indeed neither of your correspondents deny that. I am not making a party political point because I am not a supporter of any political party or group.

It was suggested in an earlier letter that I declare my political interest. This is quite simple. I ascertain each candidates views on abortion and vote for the one with the best Pro-Life views. John Dawson 1 Princes Way,
