Cardinal Gilroy, Archbishop of Sydney, left by air last week-end for India to preside at the St. Francis Xavier celebrations in Malabar. After a week in India he will fly to the Philippine Islands to preside at the first plenary council of the Hierarchy, which will he attended by seven Archbishops and about 21) Bishops.
