"MRS. ROOSEVELT DISPUTE ENDED SATISFACTORILY"

In an audience granted to five American correspondents at Castelgandolfo last weekend, the Pope expressed the view that the recent controversy between Cardinal Spellman and Mrs. Roosevelt had been satisfactorily settled.

As reported in last week's CaTuolac HERALD, it was an exchange of letters between the Cardinal and Mrs. Roosevelt which ended their public dispute over Federal funds for American Catholic schools.
