Archbishop Roncalli, Papal Nuncio in Paris, has announced the appointment of Mgr. Maurice Feltin to the Archbishopric of Paris, as successor to Cardinal Suhard who died recently. Mgr. Feltin, who is in his 67th year, was ordained in 1909 and made Bishop of Troyes in 1927.
He was appointed Archbishop of the province (Sens) in 1932 and three years later was translated to the important Archbishopric of Bordeaux.
He is not likely to be installed' until next month.
