Cardinal Caccia Dominioni attended the solemn High Mass at the Beda College, Rome, sung by the Rector, on St. Bede's Day. I.ater I-1k Eminence presided at the luncheon given to the various Englishspeaking rectors in Rome.
Among the guests were Mgr. Godfrey (English College), Mgr. Clapperton (Scots College), Fr. McCormick, S.J. (Rector of the Jesuit University), Fr. Browne, O.P. (Rector of the' Dominican University), Dom Philip Langdon, O.S.B. (Procurator of the English Benedictines), Fr. O'Connor, P.S.M. (San Silvestro), and Mr. Cyril Torr (representing Mr. Osborne, the British Minister to the Holy See, who was occupied at the Vatican).
Solemn Benediction in the evening brought the day to a close.
