One world one family

THOUSANDS OF Catholics will be gathering on 25 June at the Barbican Centre in London to celebrate One World One Family, as part of the United Nations International Year of the Family.

Supported by the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales, the event is designed for all ages, with a wide range of activities including the Jabbok Theatre Company, workshops, liturgy, games, films, exhibitions, an evening performance of the Clergy Revue and a host of stalls and speakers focusing on the global family.

The planning team is made up of representative from some of the major Catholic organisations in England and Wales headed by Bishop Christopher Budd. Groups taking part represent both domestic issues that relate to the family and the global dimension.
